Company description Pizza is a universally loved food. When made right, it can be a magical eating experience. Unfortunately, many pizza makers put profit over pizza. And even though most pizzas don’t have corners, these places still manage to find ways to cut them. They substitute sub-par ingredients, use food-like products and make generally lousy pizza that tastes terrible and doesn’t do your body any favours when you eat it. And they do so under a shroud of saucy secrecy, stashing their shortcomings in long lists of ingredients you can’t pronounce and acronyms you can’t decipher. Worst of all, we just stand back and let them pass off this poorly-flavoured cardboard as pizza. But not anymore. We’re fed up with being fed lies. These so-called pizzas aren’t pizzas by any cheesy stretch of the imagination. So we set out to prove it, one handcrafted pizza at a time. We knew deep down in our pizza-loving hearts we could make better pizza. We could make it fresh, serve it fast and not sacrifice quality for speed, convenience, profit or anything else. We could use real, flavorful ingredients. We could keep the bad stuff out, keep the good stuff in and make people fall in love with pizza all over again. And we could do it all openly, honestly and shamelessly. Because we have nothing to hide. We simply make and serve pizza in its purest, most natural, most naked form But to drive home the fact that we strip out all the typical junk found in mass produced, processed pizza (and to prevent any potential misinterpretations of which Naked we were talking about) we shortened our name to NKD Pizza. And we’ve been proudly serving our handcrafted creations to the world ever since.By simply making better, more thoughtful decisions on our end when sourcing our ingredients and crafting our pizzas, people can feel better about their decision to order and eat our pizza on their end. No, our fresh, natural pizza isn’t health food, per se. It’s just healthier, tastier and better for people than the processed garbage that’s out there parading as pizza in the world today. Which is win for us, for pizza, for all—no matter how you slice it. Main Duties and Responsibilities - Shaping the future of NKD whilst holding full P&L responsibility for the brand Internationally - Reporting to the Managing Director, the Director of Operations will lead the corporate strategy, drive operations with a team built up of specialists and elite players, and execute plans across the entire brand operation. This will include further brand expansion. - Build and lead a talented operations team internationally. - Work in association with the team, driving the market strategy and developing and executing initiatives to achieve them. - Motivate and leverage existing staff to continually drive results. - Implementation of company vision and solutions — this includes being hands-on within each and every function of the business from Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing and HR. - Proven record of establishing successful teams and implementing systems that are linked to the top and bottom-line results of the company - Experienced in uncovering and designing solutions across dynamic and quick-moving growing organisations. - Being passionate about what he/she does & will thrive in a fast-paced environment - Be able to navigate complex systems and deliver key solutions to existing and future obstacles. - Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity given your level of responsibility. Skills and Qualifications - 15 years of direct, hands-on management of all 360’ functions that may include (but not limited to); operations, sales, analytics, marketing and project management. - Proven exposure and experience leading teams across multiple territories. - Excellent judgement and critical thinking skills with the ability to utilize data to establish trigger point priorities and develop a tactic to deploy them. - Energetic and motivational leadership styles focused on personal influence. - Experience working directly with internal and external stakeholders and managing expectations against rapid growth deadlines. - You hustle hard and understand the entrepreneurial landscape. - High stamina - you don’t fold under pressure. In fact, you thrive in fast-paced environments. - Strong people management skills and experience leading large teams. - Ability to set the tone for the team and drive towards results while being empathetic to teams challenges. - Take creative, solution-oriented approaches, with an eye towards achieving results. - Strong interpersonal skills - ability to build and manage strong relationships with their team, cross-functional colleagues, and external partners. - Experience in the Middle East Desirable Skills - Ability communicate in Arabic - The preference of working within a start-up environment is an added advantage.
