We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant. You will be joining us at an incredibly exciting time for the company and will be working alongside the Marketing Director to support our marketing activities. The ideal candidate would have recent and relevant marketing experience in a similar role. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as there will be a regular and ongoing need to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. What we are looking for We are currently seeking a creative, organised and adaptable Marketing Assistant to join our small but agile marketing team in Dartford. The role will see you supporting the Marketing team and wider business with tactics to raise the awareness of products and services both internally and externally, then assist in the conversion of leads. We have been through a recent restructure of its product lines and service portfolio and is now ready to stake its claim in the burgeoning UK physical security market. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate the key abilities required for this vacancy. Additionally, a keen eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with strong analytical and planning skills are key, as there will be a regular and ongoing need to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. Main Duties & Key Responsibilities Main duties include, but are not limited to: Providing support to the Marketing Manager to ensure projects are successfully completed from concept through to execution and evaluation Assisting in delivery of marketing materials i.e. email, press releases, direct mail, POS, brochures etc Taking ownership of the organisation and delivery of trade shows and develop appropriate supporting marketing material Developing and maintaining campaign and project schedules Creation of press releases, articles and blogs to augment the company’s presence in the market- build and maintain relationships with key press titles. Running social media channels to enhance audience engagement Updating and managing group websites, working closely with internal teams and digital agencies Maintaining marketing budget records Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity You are required to carry out your duties in accordance with the company’s health & safety policies and procedures and adhere to all externally relevant health and safety laws. Carry out other general duties which may be required and agreed with your line manager.
