The Business A video game publishing company supporting game developers of both mobile and console productions to reach wider audiences, build stronger video games through technical support and raise funding as required. The team have been behind some of the UK’s most downloaded games and continue to break new boundaries through innovative brand partnerships delivering unique playing experiences for its audiences. The Job You will join the Graphic Design Team responsible for coordinating all design related projects on the go at any one time. This will involve some project management, liaising between various stakeholders for each game in production, some creativity thinking and design work too. Job breakdown: • Preparing tasks for the development team to undertake using the project management tool "Jira" and a ticket-based system for monitoring game updates. • Play video games under development to check bugs and fixes, raising with the development team accordingly. • Coordinating across the team to collate art and production assets for a live mobile game. • Operate a bespoke interface to upload in-game assets for deployment, reviewing and signing off before they are released in game. • Be involved in testing and analysis of the game. • Pull out headline data and analytics to inform future strategy. • Preparing assets for submission to digital stores e.g. App Store, Google Play. • Liaise between the London delivery team, the backend team in Poland and game developers in Finland ensure support the timely delivery of projects. • Monitor app store listings to optimise these and increase game downloads, testing different images, videos and descriptions. • Research and optimise keywords for App Store listings. • Supporting the Product Manager. Who Fits the Bill? • Ideally educated to degree level. • A passion for video games, both mobile and console, someone looking to kick start a successful career in this space. • A process driven individual is important in order to follow the workflow of all teams involved on each game development. • A clear and confident communicator. • Comfortable playing a lot of video games to identify bugs, check fixes and optimise accordingly. • Someone who can work in an organised fashion to plan multiple projects at any given time. • Likes research. • Someone who could see themselves developing into game production or product manager.
