If so, this role is not to be missed Read on A fantastic client of mine in central Bristol is recruiting for a Compliance Manager for their promotional compliance team. You will be tasked with the review and approval of all marketing material across a plethora of mediums including print, digital and video. The responsibility will apply to both external marketing material as well as internal communications in order to ensure that no stone is left unturned with regards to financial compliance. If you have a CII R01 qualification that would be a distinct advantage – but the willingness to study towards one is a must if not. Any other qualifications within Financial Services will also be welcomed. Typical daily activities will include: • Approval of financial promotions across all forms of media – ensuring that compliance with FCA rules as well as internal guidelines. • Provide support and guidance relating to new product launches. • Providing detailed and constructive feedback to account managers and document authors. • Maintaining detailed records in line with all regulatory requirements. Dealing with clients and working to tight deadlines will be second nature to you in this role, coupled with strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Given the nature of the work, you will be able to understand complex financial documentation whilst displaying sound judgement and decision making at all times. A strong negotiator with excellent attention to detail is required along with a pragmatic and diplomatic approach to both individual and team working.
