Overview

Business Intelligence Analyst Description This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of an innovative online learning service that Pearson has launched. Working in partnership with universities across the UK, the Online Programme Management (OPM) team provides online learning services including marketing, student recruitment, course content development, training and ongoing student support. This role will suit an experienced business analyst that has demonstrated skills in data analytics and extensive experience in determining insight requirements to develop data-driven reporting within a product and services environment. Take a business-centric approach and interact with all functional and partnership teams Exceptional problem solving abilities, critical thinking and demonstrated commercial awareness An ability to interpret and analyse complex technical data with high attention to detail Ability to understand the business reporting requirements and develop that into an easy to extract report that write reports from scratch and then test. Conduct analysis to continuously monitor and influence the optimisation of campaign performance Drive the use of advanced analytical techniques for exploring data to provide data driven insights and support strategic decision making across the business Recommend appropriate course of action resulting from analytical insights (eg. marketing activity, Sales activity) to best meet business objectives Present analytical findings using data visualisation tools(Tableau) and creation of insight presentations for various audiences Review large data sets and identify trends/patterns Experience in building forecasting models Design, develop and deliver regular dashboards & reports to track and analyse Key Performance Indicators Development of improved analysis approaches and test and learn frameworks Ability to work with stakeholders across technical and on-technical disciplines A can-do attitude and the ability to get things done Effective at communicating with developers and non-technical business partners Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills Pearson is an equal opportunities employer.
