Apply now Stratton HR is a niche consulting business that works with small and medium growth businesses across multiple sectors in three areas: Organisational design and development, talent assessment and HR support. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative student wishing to gain real-life exposure to marketing and general business administration, in a growing business. The role includes contributing to establishing and promoting our brand, increasing our online presence, creating and distributing content and to increasing our lead generation all with a view to winning more business. As a virtual organisation with consultants and associates based across the UK, we encourage a mixture of office working and occasional working from home. Summary Purpose In this varied and hands on role you will be involved in all marketing activity from the start, contributing ideas for marketing campaigns, writing content and bringing creativity and a commercial mindset to our marketing effort. You will be tasked with executing our marketing strategy and driving ROI across our marketing activity. You will also support the HR team and OD team in a wide range of project activities including research, associated administration and logistical arrangements. Role Responsibilities - Develop and execute a marketing plan across multiple channels - Write commercially minded content for social media, blogs, advertising and website - Manage digital marketing channels including LinkedIn and Twitter to increase brand awareness - Carry out research and analysis on competitor activity, industry news and best practice - Track and report on the success of marketing activities using quantitative and qualitative data - Manage and maintain the company website and customer relationship management systems (CRM) in compliance with GDPR - Manage the calendar of marketing activities including case studies, blogs and website updates - Support the HR team with digital design using relevant programs/software for HR projects, such as Company Handbooks, Policies and Performance Management systems - Manage and track all marketing activity to prospects and existing clients - Support the OD team to create templates and reports using PowerPoint and manage the scheduling of OD projects and associated psychometric profiling - Support the team in daily administrative tasks Knowledge, skills & experience - Current enrolment in an undergraduate degree in Marketing or Business which requires a placement year - Articulate and intelligent, strong communication skills and the ability to establish credibility quickly - Genuine drive and enthusiasm, ability to work with minimal supervision - A passion for branding and marketing and good copy writing skills - Ability to think creatively and commercially to translate ideas into strategy and deliver meaningful high impact content for the business - A good process manager; organised and structured with the ability to manage tight deadlines - Excellent IT skills – ability to get to grips with a variety of systems - Sound technical ability to manage a website, CRM and other marketing tools - Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator an advantage - Strong analytical skills - An eye for detail and passionate about delivering a high quality service - Strong research skills and ability to ‘think outside the box To be considered for the role, you should have completed two years of an undergraduate degree course and have excellent IT skills. You should have a positive attitude, good organisational skills with a flexible approach together with the ability to use initiative and meet deadlines.
