SEO Executive Online Magazine £25,000 - £32,000 Looking for an ambitious SEO, who is looking to make a splash in the online media industry. Someone who is both creative and technical but also we has an unrivalled passion for SEO. The Company An online magazine that publishes across fashion, food, travel and lifestyle. They are currently working to expand their organic audience following and the best way to this is grow out their SEO team. Working closely with a team of content and copywriters and technical web-developers you will be in charge of all thing's SEO. The Role Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation. Use the process to discover new content topics and optimise and rearrange existing articles. Conducting website technical audits and checks On page technical SEO recommendations e.g. Redirection maps, AMP, log file analysis Reducing coverage issues in Google search console Implement and execute outreach campaigns to maximise SEO growth To help think of creative campaign ideas for the SEO/editorial team that can then be utilised to help build links and increase organic performance Identifying link building opportunities and other forms of valuable outreach Proactively identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve website effectiveness and overall performance. You are data driven, curious, proactive, and self-motivated The Ideal Candidate Previous working experience in SEO, preferably within publishing. Experience working with SEO tools to monitor site performance General knowledge of how web pages work e.g. with HTML, JavaScript and CSS Experience auditing and creating technical recommendations that impact SEO. Ability to devise creative SEO solutions across complex websites Knowledge of digital publications, outreach, SEO processes and reporting Good working knowledge of Google Analytics.
