Overview

Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will be responsible for a range of tasks including the planning and implementing of successful marketing initiatives. The individual will help create a plan across all media and direct sales, develop marketing collateral, implement and track campaigns, report on results and coordinate research. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to make a good impression and play a significant part in the Company's growth. The role is predominantly office based but will involve some visits to customers. Responsibilities are: Development and execution of a marketing plan to suit sales objectives Submit ideas for experimental marketing programmes Carry out creative work for emails and social media. Website maintenance, content management and ongoing online presence development Direct contact with new and existing customers Track enquiries and quotations and liaise with sales colleagues Review and maintain CRM database Cold calling to research and establish business opportunities The role has excellent career progression opportunities. Essential Skills|: A social media star: High level of understanding of key social media networks Ability to plan and implement multiple projects and work to deadlines Can use Adobe Creative Suite or similar along with typical business software Familiar with web development/management software (WordPress, Magento, Open Cart or similar) Creative thinker with an eye for detail. Excellent copy writing skills Analytical - able to work with and organise spreadsheet data Natural communicator, confident on phone or face to face. Competent negotiator and unflappable in a selling role Team player with a passion for results Personal Characteristics Highly motivated and able to work on own initiative Passion for achieving results with integrity and energy Can manage stress Required qualifications/experience: Marketing Degree of similar Can use Excel to a good standard Marketing: 2 years Required license or certification: Full UK driving license is essential Hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday with 15 minute morning break and 30 minute lunch break.
