We’re now looking for an Editor to join our team and oversee our Top Ten Reviews (TTR) feature, providing our audience with advice on all things financial. The Role As an Editor, you will oversee our Top Ten Reviews feature, producing and editing content to help to create an audience-led strategy for the finance portion of the brand. The finance pages of the Top Ten Reviews site are packed full of useful and informative content that helps guide consumers through the minefield of modern finance. Featuring reviews of finance products and institutions, guides and news, the content is provided by freelance writers and covers every area of finance. Leading the team of freelancers, you will produce guides, generate news and create cutting-edge informative features, that will generate wide reaching interest and make TTR a leading name in its field. Your role will also involve: - Developing guides and features focused on finance, debt, savings and money management - Generating daily news articles relating to finance - Editing Freelancers’ work, ensuring all finance and money content is of a high quality - Commissioning tests and reviews of finance and money products - Reaching out to finance industry professionals to create informed content and advice - Finding new and innovative ways to reach existing and new audiences About You To join us as an Editor, you will need: - At least two years’ experience in related editorial work - Experience in writing content around finance, debt and savings - A working knowledge of SEO and how to reach broader audiences - Basic knowledge of how to create news pieces - At a minimum, a degree level qualification This role can also be carried out remotely depending on the successful candidate’s level of experience. Ideally, you will have experience of managing a section of a website, but this is not essential. An existing list of relevant contacts and freelancers would also be beneficial.
