Overview

An absolutely superb opportunity has arisen to join a leading global organisation with the comms/marketing and recognition department. You Job Purpose will be; To manage all activities and tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the company recognition Programme. To work with and support the Communication department with short and medium term projects as and when required. Principal Accountabilities Co-ordinating all elements of the process including nominations, from receipt of nomination, research on the nomination, submission to judges, ceremony invitations, share certificates etc. within required deadlines. Producing a timetable of events for all elements of the programme Ordering and maintaining stocks of items required to run the programme e.g. lapel pins and frames. Updating and maintaining the programme displays located in main reception. Planning, organising and presenting at company ceremonies. Liaising with nominators on their presentations, including content and delivery through rehearsal. Ensuring that all nominators’ presentations are at the best possible quality, focused and able to be delivered within 4 – 5 minutes. Liaising with relevant suppliers to ensure the programme runs to schedule (photographer, Facilities, Conference Centre, AV etc.). Continually improve and develop the company wide programme. Managing, updating and improving the website and databases including: Summarising each nomination into a web story Creating two minute video clips for case studies / stories. Producing reports and statistics on the programme. Maintaining up-to-date SOP documentation on all aspects of the Programme. Promoting the programme to ensure the programme standards are sustained and increase the level and quality of nominations. To keep cost control of the budget. The job holder may be required to work at other sites and travel accordingly. Occasional late evening and weekend work to support events and comms work will be required. Competencies, Skills and Experience The job holder must maintain strict confidentiality at all times due to the nature of the function and the information handled. The job holder must be a team player with a confident and flexible approach to work. A calm, professional approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required along with tact and diplomacy. This position would suit someone self-motivated and professional with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The role is part-time and permanent - working hours 3 days per week (to suit the candidate). Some flexibility will be required. Free parking and excellent on site facilities available.
