THE FIRM A leading law firm in the health and social care, charity and social enterprise sectors. THE ROLE A Charities lawyer is now sought to join a high profile team. The work will include, inter alia, Advising on the Charities Act and the Companies Act and the Community Interest Company Regulations Advising on charity trustee and director's duties Providing board training Providing company secretarial services Advising on the removal of trustees, including drafting notices /resolutions for removal of directors under s168 Companies Act 2006 Applying to register charities with the Charity Commission and OSCR and community interest companies with the CIC Regulator and ideally community benefit societies with the FCA) ABOUT YOU A lawyer with 5PQE three years of which should be in Charity law, you will have a strong business development focus with evidence of business growth and be a self-motivator who generates business ideas.
