An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Interim E-mail/E-Commerce Manager Support the Digital Marketing Team during their period of growth and expansion. The following experience and skills are essential:- Designing and building Dynamic/Personalised emails Using A/B testing packages to optimise design ESP and CRM toools. Alterian would be an advantage HTML coding Using photoshop to create artwork Planning and organising marketing activity Copywriting skills Strong communication skills Excellent understandingof emerging email trends Working to deadlines Ability to produce written reports and proposals Ability to critique past activity, interpret perormance data/ reports and make recommendations The marketing department is step-changing its output, team structure and website to enable us to achieve our growth plans over the next five years. We have established a joint CRM and Digital marketing function to bring the power of data and segmentation to our marketing - so we can put the right offer in front of the right member at the right time. During this exciting period of change we are looking for an Interim Email / eCommerce manager to help us migrate to a 'dynamic email’ strategy and deliver our marketing/content campaigns for our award-winning website. The lion’s share of the work will be helping us to deliver our email and CRM campaigns both on the site and into our members’ inboxes. There will be, however, a wider variety of tasks day-to-day as we go through a significant IT project during the summer months. Main duties: Design and build emails and landing pages, assisting with: Developing a plan / calendar of activity, working with the brand and product marketing managers, to achieve digital marketing objectives - in particular through email Contributing to the Marketing team's sales / acquisition / traffic objectives by ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of all online aspects associated with integrated marketing campaigns - email, and associated content online (deciduous content / evergreen content) Designing and setting live landing pages for our campaigns and offers keeping in line with brand guidelines, industry best practice and competitor activity Manage email marketing campaigns, assisting with: Taking the brief, building emails and sending campaigns, liaising with colleagues and software providers to solve any issues that may arise Contributing ideas and implement agreed email testing Designing new email templates when the need arises Trigger email campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle to maximise traffic (with the support of the CRM Manager and Digital Marketing Manager) A/B testing on emails, assisting with: Setting up A/B and MVT Testing on various email / landing pages to establish the most effective Tracking and reporting on email campaigns in order to guide improvements Ensuring that all email campaigns comply with current email best practice in the industry and with appropriate legal requirements Development of brand content and offer/deal detail, assisting with: The general brand content of the website, using the Content Management System to ensure that information is accurate and that it appears correctly across different browsers and devices Migrating content across to a new website
