In both our clinics, Canary Wharf and Orpington, LycaHealth has diagnostic suites that are second to none, comprising of State of the Art 3T MRI Scanners, Multislice CT Scanners, Ultrasound as well as Digital X-ray technology. We have the opportunity for an enthusiastic, committed and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our friendly hardworking team. The successful candidate would be based at the Canary Wharf site and must be fully competent in MRI. CT experience would be an advantage to any applicant. We offer attractive competitive salaries plus additional packages. Clinical Duties To carry out all aspect of MR, CT and X-ray examinations and duties to a high professional standard. The daily organisation of the cross-sectional imaging services, ensuring the delivery of a professional, high quality, effective and flexible service at all times that is responsive to the needs of the patients and the clinicians Undertake MR and CT imaging techniques that require the operation of advanced acquisition and processing software with excellent hand-eye co-ordination. To organise and prioritise the daily workload efficiently, ensuring that all patients are seen promptly and on time. Accountable for own professional standards by being responsible for maintaining a high standard of imaging and patient care always. To vet and protocol request forms ensuring appropriate study is carried out according to set protocols To check that Imaging request forms are IR(ME)R compliant before booking the procedure To ensure that there is appropriate justification for any examination before undertaking it. To ensure safe operation of the equipment and patient safety. To ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient service to meet the needs of the patients and the clinicians. To initiate first line fault reporting and logging To undertake Quality Assurance testing to ensure equipment is operating optimally, highlighting problems in advance to minimise downtime. Undertake venepuncture and intravenous cannulation for administration of contrast media, intravenous flush and other named medicines pertinent to MR/CT examinations in accordance with the injection policy.
