Overview

Brilliant Procurement Analyst opportunity with a dynamic, innovative International Retail Pharmaceutical organisation who are at the forefront of their industry… The Procurement Analyst will support sourcing activities and will include daily sourcing activities including portfolio and system maintenance, pricing review, and inventory management. As Procurement Analyst you will also be responsible for gathering information, performing product and supplier research and analysing data to prepare recommendations for product and supplier sourcing. Responsibilities: Responsible for data gathering, analysing, reporting, and developing recommendations. Reconcile multiple sources of data to analyse trends & opportunities; provide financial outputs for business cases and/or product development requirements Perform analysis that informs tactical decision making and solves business problems related to potential or current business opportunities that meet project requirements and drive incremental profit related to source programs Support the bid review process including preparing bid packets, validating bids, identifying share shifts, pricing and contracting review and issuing award letters. Support the Sourcing and Supplier Relations team with developing the implementation schedule and vendor setup Execute the accurate and efficient set-up of new products, maintenance of existing products, system pricing, supplier shipping terms & conditions, and coordination of promotional purchases. Requirements: Education/Experience Degree in Finance, Economics Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in sourcing, finance/business analysis or product management Pharmaceutical product sourcing and / or buying experience preferred Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of purchasing, sourcing and/or product management of product distributed within a multiple warehouse environment Strong proficiency in MS Excel and/or Access Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Well organised, process and team-oriented with the ability to prioritise quickly Excellent communication skills and able to work with all levels of management and internal / external customers to get results quickly – able to communicate complex data to stakeholders in a simplified and action-oriented manner Highly motivated self-starter; ability to initiate and manage work with minimal supervision Please use the site buttons to Apply If you would like to know more about this opportunity, please call Jane Wallbank on 44 (0)1403 248448 Beaumont Select is a leading Supply Chain & Purchasing Recruitment Agency for permanent and interim staffing solutions.
