Product Designer / Project Manager - Surrey, GU3 A Product Designer / Project Manager is needed to join a toy and games manufacturer based in Guildford, Surrey. You'll combine great product ideas with excellent organisation skills to help deliver new products from scratch. With offices across all key International territories, they design and develop products across all major toys and games categories with a renewed focus on creating in house IP supported by digital content. Established 40 years ago, they enjoy creating and nurturing evergreen games and toys including Sequence, Gooey Louie, Shark Bite, Doggie Doo and AniMagic, to name a few - pull up a chair and come and join them for some fun and games Joining as the Product Designer / Project Manager you will be responsible for creating, innovating and managing product solutions to help build an amazing brand and product portfolio within the company. You will work in an industry-leading design team taking ideas from conception all the way through the product development lifecycle, as well as working alongside the global development teams, including their Engineering team in Hong Kong. Whether you are sketching a new product idea, finalising product functions, costing a product, planning project timings or delivering research analysis to back up your concepts, it will be your creative flair and passion that helps add to their company portfolio and drives revenue and profit growth for the company. To qualify… You should be a Product Designer / Project Manager / Industrial Designer or similar with as CV that demonstrates: Previous experience within a similar role; Strong project management skills; Experience working in the toy, licensing, entertainment industry or similar; Strong Adobe application experience and CAD knowledge; Great knowledge of developing product from concept to manufacture; Previous experience of the following: briefing agencies, accumulating costs, liaising with a marketing team and working with an international department/team; Be able present your brand ideas as commercially sound and viable concepts; Have a restless mind, fascinated by trends, brands and products; Be tenacious in solving problems.
