Overview
MARKETING EXECUTIVE Gretna Green Ltd are seeking to recruit a Marketing Executive to work within the marketing team and to support the company in the development and delivery of marketing and PR outreach strategies covering Attraction, Retail, Weddings and Hotels. The role will require identifying areas for growth, partnership opportunities, media outreach and relationship building with key internal and external stakeholders. Design and implementation of revenue-driving strategies and campaigns through both on and offline channels. Main duties will be: Work with internal stakeholders, to help plan and then go and implement marketing/PR campaigns that drive engagement, traffic and bookings across both on and offline collateral and PR. Source and produce engaging content, to ensure key messages across the Gretna Green Ltd estate is communicated effectively and within brand guidelines. Relationship building with key external stakeholders within the tourism, food & beverage and leisure markets, identify new potential partnerships that will benefit the business. Research and identify opportunities to extend the reach of Gretna Green both domestically and internationally, presenting proposals for growth, converting into revenue for the business Meet with key external stakeholders and potential partners on-site and off-site, identifying any areas for improvement which will, in turn, create a better experience for our clientele. Work with approved external agencies, where appropriate, to arrange media visits with relevant press, journalists, industry partners. Work with the wider marketing team to conceptualising and deliver exciting customer activations that celebrate the business, driving footfall and revenue. Assist with the creation and delivery of engaging social media content when required. Monthly reporting on successes in terms of customer reach and revenue-generating and identifying areas needing attention/adaption. Ensuring that KPIs are achieved Required experience and skills: Must be enthusiastic and personable Have an energetic approach with great drive and energy Exceptional written skills and a keen eye for detail Understanding of the hospitality/retail industry Experience of copywriting and proofreading Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Fast learner and ability to work independently Experience in a similar role Problem solver A good team player Desirable Skills: Experience of working with creative software packages (Adobe Creative Suite, etc) Experience using Microsoft Office Applications Experience working to KPI’s Hours of work: Full Time, Salaried Salary : DOE Responsible to: Head of Marketing
