Overview

Visual Merchandiser (London) Part Time roles - 3 or 4 days per week Base salary: GBP 16,650 per annum (3 days), GBP 22,200 per annum (4 days) Bonus: 7.5% (equivalent to GBP 1,350 for 3 days per week and GBP 1,800 for 4 days) Annual travel allowance included in package Infinite have the privilege of recruiting for a global household brand in the sports apparel industry. We are keen to talk to exceptional and creative Visual Merchandisers with a keen eye for detail who will take accountability and coordinate all aspects of Visual Merchandising for the wholesale channel. The right candidate would maintain strong partnerships with retailers in order to have a deeper understanding of the business needs and, to guide and direct creative talent ultimately ensuring brand vitality through store engagement. The Role As a Visual Merchandising expert you will be responsible for the adaptation and execution of Visual Merchandising across all retailers within your territory. You will also take accountability of all permanent fixtures in our client’s portfolio, driving the performance and commercial gain instore whilst successfully reporting back your impacts and findings. Our ideal candidate will have impeccable planning skills including time and territory management. Key Responsibilities: Communication: Consistent documented feedback and evidence of VM in-store to our inhouse project management team Cascade information given by project management to retailers and store colleagues through 121 coaching and regular store meetings Participate in team meetings and conference calls to understand client briefs and give detailed retailer specific feedback to the project management Capture shop floor insight in a concise, realistic and timely manner hitting reporting deadlines and expectations Merchandising Display: Drive layout decisions in store based on client planogram requests and retailer stock availability Ensure store complies with VM standards and guidelines to provide an on-brand shopping experience to all consumers Ensure all displays are presented to the highest standard including correctly dressed and positioned mannequins, lighting direction, cleanliness, steaming and point of sale As a VM for our client you will be responsible for creating clear Shop-In-Shop to emphasize category presentation to the consumer whilst also to create a best in practice legacy to the retailer staff Responsible for ordering and ensuring correct use and positioning of in-store communication tools Update the floor plan and fixture allocation report based on accurate product presentation in your retailers. Flawless execution on Marketing activities aligned with Marketing department Equipment Control: Return and correctly store unused equipment including fixtures, mannequins, props & graphic frames Manage fixtures with care to avoid damage VM Development: Attend VM team meetings and any additional product training sessions Involvement in development opportunities as requested by Project Management Key Relationships: Infinite Project Management Team Infinite Client VM peers Retailers including management & in store advisors Consumers Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High IT skills across the Microsoft suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Fluent in English Good numeracy, literacy, verbal and written communication skills Geographical mobility across the territory Full UK driving license (no points) Pre-requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 2-year dedicated VM experience (ideally in apparel) KPIs to include the following areas: Commercial return In-store standards & compliance Key relationships Ambassador for VM, advocating the department across all retailers
