Overview
Our client is an award winning self-adhesive label manufacturing company, they are focused on providing innovative, quality solutions to our customers for a wide range of packaging requirements. This is an exciting time to join our Company as we experience growth and expansion, working to ISO 9001, PS 9000 and BRC standards. They currently have a vacancy for a Reprographic Operator in their Studio. Role responsibilities include: Ensure all images and files are complete and ready for printing according to the printer's specifications Engineering artwork to very precise print production constraints Offering technical advice and ensuring all artwork is achievable within print production constraints Amending, checking and pre-flighting packaging artwork Ensure all guidelines are followed Checking for any artwork errors Providing colour proofing Using Adobe Creative Suite for artwork mods and image retouching Using ESKO PackEdge/Deskpack/Artpro or Packz for repro editor Mentor new and junior staff, providing training where necessary Key requirements: Extensive experience of using Adobe Creative Suite and Artpro Extensive knowledge of artwork, pre-press and repro procedures Knowledge of Esko and Hybrid Automation is preferable Experience of the main print packaging processes, especially flexography Proven experience of artwork creation and manipulation to a high standard Ability to work both as part of a team and unsupervised To adhere to all internal processes in place for digital workflows Problem solving and ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure Experience required: Packaging/Labelling: 3 years (preferred) Artwork: 3 years (preferred) Esko/Hybrid/Artpro/Deskpack: 3 years (preferred) Reprographics: 3 years (preferred) Knowledge of narrow web labelling processes (preferred) SALARY TO BE DISCUSSED AT INTERVIEW Taskmaster Resources LTD is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy, if you have the right skills and attributes then please call Kelly.
