About the Role: The role of the Digital Communications Assistant will provide valuable support and contribute to the work delivered by our Digital Communications team. You will be working with multiple public and private sector clients to deliver socially impactful policy strategies, campaigns and digital services across the world. Working alongside our creative, development and editorial teams, the Digital Communications Assistant will utilise and develop their content writing skills by working on websites, blogs, and social media platforms for a number of high profile clients. The Digital Communications Assistant will also have the opportunity to support the web and social media team with developing written and audio-visual content. In addition, you will also be involved in updating websites using our content management system (CMS) and managing and maintaining social media accounts, this includes creating and editing content for different channels. The role will also take a proactive lead in assisting with social media campaign monitoring and analysis and helping to plan and organise digital campaigns. As a Digital Communications Assistant, you will develop your skills though a range of exposure to multiple client projects, technical training, staying abreast of trends, developments and opportunities within the digital communications field. Role Responsibilities: The ideal candidate should be educated with a degree in one of the following; Journalism, Communications, Digital Marketing or multi-media studies. You will be required to demonstrate high quality written communication and copywriting skills for blogs, web content, social media and other digital platforms. Experience of content management systems (CMS) is also ideal. You must have experience of supporting and delivering projects in a fast-paced commercial environment, where your creative writing skills have achieved measurable results. You must have the ability to tailor written and verbal communications to reach a variety of audiences, along with a good understanding of marketing and communication principles.
