Overview
Our client is a major success story and is on a fast growth trajectory plan in the online fashion world. The business model is to promote and work alongside with independent brands rather than just focusing on the high street. This gives them an advantage given the flexibility of independent retailers and an ongoing loyalty from its customers. The platform is also a huge success as it is uniquely tailored for the shopper and have an on-site team that will go the distance to help online customers. In this role, you will be the brand champion for all things copy. You will work closely with the CEO, Head of CRM and Head of Content to bring the brand vision to life. Your responsibilities will include: Write, rewrite and edit content wherever necessary incl. emails, social, blogs, onsite & external comms Define the brand tone of voice incl. grammar and punctuation conventions Communicate the TOV effectively across all areas of the business ensuring buy-in and alignment Proofread all copy produced by the business Introduce processes to enable the efficient review of all copy Ensure consistency across all channels Support weekly content planning Ideation for hero campaigns/moments Identify opportunities to own content ideas and drive them forward Plan and lead editorial projects through to completion Hold meetings as and when necessary to drive the wider success of the brand strategy Mentor, coach and up-skill junior writers Our expectations: Strong understanding of the business goals and needs Building relationships, motivating and driving powerful growth An entrepreneurial mindset and relentless go-getter attitude Ability to think strategically and execute from high-level guidance Passionate about fashion and e-commerce, knowledgeable about startups Be proactive in putting ideas forward to benefit the company, even outside own area, and take leadership in implementing them.
