Overview
We are recruiting for a Digital specialist within a reputable and well-established business that provides financial solutions across the South West, within the Accountancy sector. This is an exciting new opportunity within the business to be responsible for the communication of the digital technology strategy, advising and educating their clients on relevant technology. You will be working within a small team newly appointed team so there is lots of scope for new ideas This role; being new to the business is in place to ensure digital solutions are available for their clients and also that the business is trained on them. The balance of the role is working half your time completing in house training across the business’ sites and the other half of your time educating and working with your clients to assist with planning and implementation of digital solutions. Are you - an experienced candidate within the financial sector or working as a Bookkeeper, working using Zero or Quick books? Do you have an interest and understanding of digital software, to include apps and other cloud-based solutions and are happy to implement and train colleagues and clients on this? Do you - with your accountancy experience understand the digital market and have fantastic communication skills? For this role - you will need to understand the importance of digital solutions within the financial industry and technological barriers that may be present. You will be happy to have confidence to push through changes and implement these and also be confident to engage your team to do the same to enable a positive growth for the business. You will need to be confident with dealing with all cross functions of teams within in the business and also with clients. This is an exciting and positive new role within the business and really gives the successful candidate the autonomy to make the role their own and develop it following the digital strategy the business needs.
