Senior Conference Producer Based in London Overseas Travel Salary up to £32K Profit Share circa £5-8K Excellent Benefits We are recruiting an experienced Conference Producer to step into a Senior Conference Producer position. You will be joining a growing, well respected and global brand in conferences & events. We are keen to talk with conference producers with 1-2 years experience who are excited to manage and grow a portfolio of smaller established conferences which are content driven You can create & deliver the strategy for growth across the portfolio, plus research & launch 1 or 2 new events. This is an exciting challenge for an experienced & ambitious conference producer. The Job As the Senior Conference Producer, you will be responsible for your own portfolio of B2B conferences. These events are held in the UK & Overseas, they currently attract under 100 attendees and have potential to double (or triple) the numbers. This portfolio also has scope for new events to be launched in exciting locations. You will be well supported by a very experienced manager. As a Senior producer your role will include: Market research to identify & validate new topics for the agenda, content direction, programme development and overall formatting of the event Identify target audience and potential sponsors for each of the topic and overall conference Identify, secure and brief high-calibre speakers to deliver the talks and case studies Work with internal stakeholders; sales, marketing, editorial and operations. Develop networks with external professionals to support with topic & speaker advice Support and problem solve on the day at the event Identify opportunities to develop the existing events & launch new conferences Meet deadlines; ensure your events are delivered successfully, on time, within budget & meet desired expectations Strategic development of the portfolio The Person We are looking for an ambitious and experienced conference producer with: Ideally 1 -2 years of Conference Production experience gained in a commercial events environment where you have been responsible for developing new content for conferences. Experience developing events, growing the speaker numbers and attendees Great commercial business acumen - can recognise commercial opportunities Excellent research and analysis skills - desk, phone and face to face Very content driven Effective, confident & professional communicator Excellent creative writing skills Able to identify & execute new opportunities Excellent attention to detail Project management skills - You will be strong at planning, organising and manging your time Consistently able to meet deadlines and achieve targets Team orientated but equally as strong working independently Event Development and/or launch experience would be advantageous.
