If so, please apply below: Client Details - Well established charity - Cardiff City Centre , free parking - 35 hours a week - £24,000 to £27,500 Description Main Responsibilities The Post Holder will assume responsibility for the following: - To identify and maximise opportunities to raise unrestricted and restricted funds from trusts, foundations and grant making bodies. - Working towards achieving an ambitious income target that supports the planned delivery of our work at a national, regional and local level. - Supporting volunteers to capitalise upon and access funding opportunities with development and dissemination of funding toolkits and application support. - To represent the Fundraising team through engagement with stakeholders, grant funders and other gift making bodies. Including relationship management with funders and potential funders. - To research and actively seek funding opportunities, and to develop a pipeline of those emerging opportunities - To complete Expression of Interest and Pre-Qualification Questionnaires alongside building relations with potential new funders. - Working under own initiative to identify new and emerging opportunities that could benefit St John Cymru. - Work with the Senior Management Team to identify funding needs and opportunities and build a strong case for support. - Contribute to the delivery of the overall Fundraising strategic goals and developing strategy for trust, foundation and grant fundraising. - Create and manage an income budget to include re-forecasting and contingency planning. - Work closely with the Communication and Marketing team to promote funding successes and create successful campaigns in line with funder requirements. - Speak at events and presentations as required. - Administrate and organise own work to ensure that it is accurate and meets quality targets, reasonable deadlines and reporting requirements. - Be responsible for data and ensuring the database is up to date - Ability to work independently whilst supporting and being part of a wider team, managing a varied workload to ensure deadlines are met.
