Overview
We are working with a well known charity in Cardiff who are looking for a a Grants fundraiser to support the creation of innovative and inspiring proposals and applications. As Grants Fundraiser you will be responsible for supporting the growth of income through the channels of trust, grant and foundation fundraising as well as lead on the relationship between Trusts and Foundations, lottery funders and commissioning bodies. This is what you’ll be doing as Grants Fundraiser Identify and maximise opportunities to raise unrestricted and restricted funds from trusts, foundations and grant making bodies. Working towards achieving an ambitious income target that supports the planned delivery of our work at a national, regional and local level. Represent the Fundraising team through engagement with stakeholders, grant funders and other gift making bodies. Including relationship management with funders and potential funders. Work with the Senior Management Team to identify funding needs and opportunities and build a strong case for support. The experience you’ll bring to the team Experience in raising funds for trusts and foundation Experience of working with operational teams to develop a case for supporting and funding application to meet their needs. Knowledge of funding research and experience in tracking down opportunities to make application and bids.
