Overview

The General Manager Sales of frank green reports to the CEO. The General Manager Sales will be accountable for managing, developing and executing the Sales, Pricing and Yield Strategy and Plan for Company’s products for the European market. The General Manager Sales sets direction by defining the vision, building the business case and plan, and aligning, motivating, and inspiring key stakeholders and sales staff. In addition, the General Manager Sales must be successful in attracting and motivating key sales hires across all key areas. The General Manager Sales leadership role lastly entails being ultimately responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing the Company’s long and short term sales and business development plans and objectives. The purpose of this role is to grow the Company in Europe and to develop the Company’s brand into an iconic brand. In doing so, directly support company growth and generate sales growth through driving all internal and external brand marketing and PR activities and providing sales tools for the Business Development team in line with the agreed brands’ vision and values. This role will also be involved with establishing and supporting business and product development opportunities and managing and coordinating specific business and profit improvement activities, identified by the Company and providing sales analysis and business support to the CEO, COO and the Global Chief Marketing Officer as required. Education, Skills & Experience Required Tertiary degree qualifications in Marketing, Sales and or PR preferred. Proven executive level B2B and B2C Marketing & Sales experience. Knowledge of the Sports & Leisure, Café & Retail, and Health Industries; and/or Corporate Promotional activities. Excellent project management and time management skills - a track record of meeting deadlines and working to a budget. Previous experience with sales CRM software. High-level presentation skills including written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Expert negotiation skills and understanding of client care. Demonstrated leadership skills to manage a sales team to achieve results. Financial and cost analysis skills. Ability to think innovatively and strategise at both a macro and micro level. Genuine knowledge with digital and social media platforms as well as print and below the line marketing strategies. A genuine interest in and knowledge of current environmental issues. In particular, the impact of limited use items on the environment and landfill.
