Senior Pricing Analyst - Maidenhead - £30,000 - £55,000 per annum Wade Macdonald are proud to be working with a well-established commodities analytics business, based in a modern office close to the Maidenhead area. My client is a rapidly growing leader in their market, trusted by many blue-chip organisations across UK. They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Pricing Analyst, who has a strong experience within raw commodities, especially high protein foods. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a passionate candidate who is looking for a role where they can make an impact, share their passion for healthy foods and be a part of a driven and friendly team The role To use knowledge of the fundamentals, supply chain, end-users and key participants for specific commodity markets, in order to generate representative prices and world-class content To collect pricing data and take responsibility for the price assessments in line with price specifications and IOSCO principles To build and maintain proprietary data To provide market commentaries, market moving stories and analytical reports on commodities To manage and develop the number of industry contacts that submit pricing data, including face to face meetings To support contacts and clients about the particular pricing To support your manager with reviewing and managing existing pipeline of prices and identify new price assessment launch opportunities Publishing new price reports To produce PRA content, participate in internal and external events and promote business on the social media What you will need to be successful You will need to have the following skills and experience: Minimum 2 years of price reporting experience within the commodities / agriculture markets Excellent understanding of commodity markets and the fundamental drivers which shape them Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with numbers and spreadsheets Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear manner A willingness to travel when required Ideal but not essential Have experience within Agricultural commodities Degree in Economics / Agriculture or an analytical degree At least 2 years' experience What you'll receive in return Not only will you be part of a supportive, passionate and energetic team but you will also receive the following; 25 days holiday bank holidays and your birthday off Generous pension contribution Health Insurance Discretionary Performance Bonus Fantastic social events Free breakfasts and lunches every month How to proceed If this role is of interested, please apply directly to this advert PLEASE REMEMBER BEFORE YOU APPLY: Only candidates with previous experience within raw commodities pricing will be considered for this role Applications are encouraged from all candidates meeting or exceeding the minimum criteria for the role regardless of age, disability, gender, orientation, race, religion or ethnicity.
