Senior Brand Manager Bicester Main Purpose of the Job: Overall Product & Communication Management of the Dispenser Division including Communication strategy and implementation and new product launches Manage the Marketing Budget for Dispensers for optimal ROI People Management Responsibilities: Digital Marketing Manager Marketing Executive - Products & Trade Marketing Executive - Communications Main Responsibilities: Product Management Specific Product responsibility for the Dispenser range including new product launches. UK custodian of the Dispenser products from strategy to implementation, supporting the GmbH brand position, and ensuring common knowledge and understanding throughout the UK Business Ensure good working knowledge of full product range including availabilities, launch/phase-out timings, specifications, applications, pricing, quality issues, etc. Develop and maintain (or source from HQ) product road map Maintain Product and company literature, where relevant with support of Marketing Assistants, making recommendations where necessary for new materials. Ensure sales and marketing teams are aware of available literature Maintain good communication with HQ product management team, ensuring all relevant product information is fed through to the UK and that UK feedback is communicated Lead Generation Taking joint responsibility along with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure as a digital strategy is in place to optimise the required number of leads to deliver the sales plans Ensure the CRM process is fully embedded across sales and marketing so that all leads can be tracked and opportunities/issues can be identified Ensure there is full visibility on ROI in this area, and that key hurdles are achieved Identify group best practice in this area and apply relevant areas to the UK strategy and communicate learnings with group dispenser marketing to work on joint improvement plans Sector Marketing Oversee the Sector Marketing strategy development Ensure that market and customer insights remain at the heart of all activity and a consistent strategy and communication plan is created for key sectors Work with Sales teams to understand objectives for identified focus sectors and areas of opportunity to propose and develop sector-specific plans to support business objectives Ensure good working knowledge of reporting systems to be aware of current sales levels and issues and develop relevant action plans and recommendations Marketing Planning Work with the UK Director of Marketing to define and implement the Business Planning process, ensuring that both the sales and marketing team are aligned with common KPI’s and objectives Through the yearly Marketing Planning process align with the UK Marketing Director and the Dispenser Commercial Director on the development of UK specific Dispenser communication, which remains consistently aligned to the global BRITA brand positioning Work with external agencies on lead generation and PR activity that directly addresses the insights identified Development & Execution of the Communication Plan Management of Communication plan within agreed budget guidelines Management of ongoing interaction with external agencies, ensuring that work is completed within agreed timescales Monitor copy and creative work to ensure it conforms with marketing objectives, brand objectives and is factual, accurate and adheres to corporate guidelines Prepare timely reports on the progress and success of activities, including any tracking insight Work proactively with the Sales team on the Lead Generation strategy ensuring monthly monitoring of leads and reviewing activity to optimise revenue generation Work with external agencies on the development and implementation of an integrated PR & Digital strategy, aligned to the Communication Plan Provide Marketing and Sales team with regular updates on PR activity and share results and learnings Proactively work with GmBH on the development of the Dispenser brand guidelines, ensuring local market requirements eg Social, are considered at all times Marketing Expenditure Manage all Marketing Expenditure for the year, working with the team to ensure that all spend across the department is within budget and reported on a monthly basis to the Commercial Director Management of Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing Executives (x2) Development of direct reports to ensure they can perform to the best of their capabilities Perform timely appraisal of direct report’s work and provide motivational feedback towards personal development and corrective training where necessary Delegate appropriate 'SMART’ tasks to direct reports and ensure support where applicable and required Qualifications/Training: Degree educated with relevant experience or a professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
