Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work on leading events in two of the most exciting and fastest growing sectors in the world - the African and Latin American power sectors. Our client's team is made up of around 25 people who are all passionate about the work they do in a supportive, collaborative and fun environment. This is a role with a good deal of responsibility and clear career progression, and as such would suit an experienced and ambitious conference producer who is keen to work on a smaller number of very high-quality events in a global environment. The role The Senior Conference Producer will be responsible for producing one of their own conferences as well as project managing the team to deliver high-level events across our client's portfolios in Latin America and Africa. The role involves working alongside the production, marketing and sales teams to ensure the events achieve their goals and targets and meet the needs of the audience and sponsors. The Senior Conference Producer is also required to guide and inspire producers and work with them to ensure timelines are met and events produced to a very high standard. This role requires strong production and project management skills. You'll be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships at the highest level - including government ministers and other key stakeholders. Alongside your project management and production responsibilities, you'll also be tasked with investigating and developing new content and topic ideas and will work with the MD and Group Director to produce strategy for the future direction of events. About you We're looking for: Previous experience in a similar role producing high-level conferences with demonstrable success in growing both the delegate and sponsorship revenue Educated to degree level or equivalent experience Strong project management skills Strategic thinking and forward planning The ability to lead and inspire your project team Fluency in French and/or Spanish would be a bonus, but not essential The role attracts a highly competitive base salary, flexible according to experience, and an excellent and achievable bonus.
