If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you 2020 has been an exciting year for this growing business and as a result, they are looking to recruit a Social Media & eCommerce Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will own all day to day activity relating to social media and email, plus support the rest of the E-Commerce team in achieving growth across all channels, this may include design, website updates, SEO, PPC, and Marketplaces. Key Responsibilities: Writing email content and building designs in Mailchimp / Dot Digital A/B testing email subject lines and sending times to improve performance Build data-driven marketing campaigns with the engagement cloud Producing exciting social media campaigns and building up a fan base across multiple social media channels to achieve yearly growth targets Build paid social campaigns and A/B test audience and creative to improve performance Designing marketing creatives/banners for the websites and across various marketing channels including email, affiliates and social media Creating and improving website content and product listings to encourage customers to make a purchase via websites on the Magento eCommerce platform Writing Copy for all areas, including internal and external blogs, SEO content, and printed materials The job role will likely change from time to time dependant on internal priorities. Key Metrics: Achieving sales targets Growing online site traffic, orders and conversion rates Improving customer interaction with emails e.g. open and click-through rates, subscribers Continuous growth in social media e.g. engagement rate, followers Increased SERPs for major keywords Essential Skills & Experience: Educated to degree level in a marketing or communications-related subject Experience in a similar digital marketing role Experience of any email service platform - Dot Digital or similar preferable Experience of social platforms especially Facebook and Facebook Ads, Twitter and Hootsuite Adobe Photoshop skills are required Knowledge of SEO best practice Copywriting experience Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload, executing an ongoing plan Good MS Office Knowledge (Outlook, Word & Excel) Hours: 8:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday Salary - dependent on experience
