Overview

My client is looking for a Trade Marketing Executive to join their growing team based in Watford within the FMCG market. Role: You’ll support in delivering our key customer communications across all channels including online, print, social and via our sales teams. You’ll get to work closely with some brilliant creative and digital agencies and will over time take the lead in managing the day-to-day activity with them. You’ll need exceptional attention to detail as you’ll need to give clear briefs and detailed proofing as part of your role. You’ll work closely with the sales team to ensure they have the right kit-bag to deliver our continued aggressive sales growth plans in existing and new sectors. developing a brilliant understanding of how to join it all up to deliver results in a B2B business. You’ll work with them to ensure prospect leads are followed up correctly and converted, plus targets in New Product Development and brand partner activation are met. You’ll need a decent grasp of basic commercials/ understanding of excel as you’ll be expected to measure (master reports will be provided for you to run, but you’ll be expected to summarise these on occasion) You’ll relish the working in a (very) fast paced (but fun) environment, with masses of variety in your role and the opportunity to get involved in some really exciting projects. At least 1/2 years’ experience Really pro-active, really conscientious, excellent attention to detail and tenacious to a fault. Approachable and have the ability to communicate effectively cross-departments (telesales, field sales, purchasing, category etc). Organised and a strong project manager Thrive in fast paced environment and with varied workload Key areas of responsibility: Supporting in creating content, day-to-day- management of, and working with sales teams to drive engagement of Seed-bank Project managing customer comms across all channels including online, email, print and direct mail, social media Work closely with external agencies, playing key comms/ process management role, including proofing and stakeholder management, ensuring activity is delivered on time and in budget Play a key role in driving engagement and customer adoption of our brand partners’ product ranges via our sales team - ensuring they are proactively targeting the right opportunities, have appropriate kitbag, support in effective customer comms and conversion where relevant Support in delivering activity aligned to our digital strategy, including executing customer email acquisition activity per the planSupport in other areas as required i.e. arranging Photo shoots, customer events, and regular reporting against activity.
