Overview
Our client is one of UK Retail's success stories with over 160 stores in the UK and a rapidly growing Online and International business. They have opened over 30 new stores in the past two years and have ambitious growth plans for 2020 and beyond. They offer a friendly and supportive culture, operating with high integrity and values in everything they do. They are now looking for an Online Marketing Executive to be based at their head office in Amersham. Reporting into the Online Marketing Manager the Online Marketing Executive will be an expert in performance marketing for ecommerce and know how to optimise effectively cross-channel, ensuring The Entertainer gets the most out of its marketing budget. Responsibilities – Online Marketing Executive - Work with the Online Marketing Manager to report on market insights and digital performance ensuring that the brand is proactive in their digital marketing approach. - Report on channel and product performance using Google Analytics. - Measuring and optimising SEO across core brands, working with internal and external stakeholders. - Work closely with the Web Merchandising team on new product additions, top sellers, pre-orders and stock availability for marketing activity - Check digital performance daily using Google Campaign Manager working with agencies and the Online Marketing Manager to brief in optimisations within budget. - Support the Online Marketing Co-Ordinator in briefing in e-marketing activity. - Work with the marketing, retail and trade teams on new product releases, ad campaigns and other key brand messages and events. - Liaise with suppliers and partners to action partner and brand activity online, ensuring all elements of the partner activity agreement are covered. Required Skills – Online Marketing Executive - Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs and Screaming Frog. - Experience in on-page optimisations and copywriting for SEO. - Confident using Google Analytics, Google Campaign Manager and Google Ads - Strong understanding of the marketing funnel and know how to build out campaigns cross-channel. - A creative thinker and a tactical problem solver – able to use data to help create brilliant campaigns whilst ensuring they deliver against our core KPI’s. - Highly organised and adept in using spreadsheets to manage calendars, projects and reporting. - Strong communication skills and comfortable dealing with third parties via phone or email. - Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator experience is advantageous but not essential. - Experience using an ESP and DMP is advantageous but not essential. - Experience using Facebook Ads Manager is advantageous but not essential. The Online Marketing Executive will be a strong all-rounder, confident analysing data, planning campaigns, implementing optimisations and reporting. As Online Marketing Executive you will also have a strong attention to detail and a willingness to ‘muck in’ across all areas of the team. You may have gained your previous experience as a Digital Marketing Executive or as an SEO executive.
