Head of IT Procurement - Utilities - South West London - Up to £95,000 with Excellent Package Contact: JobsAWbramwithconsulting.co.uk This opportunity is with one of the largest utilities providers in the UK with revenue in the billions and hundreds of facilities across the country. The company are undergoing a complete transformation project. They are looking to restructure and adapt their entire procurement function, to align with a more innovative and sustainable business model. They are looking for an experienced technology procurement professional keen to implement their own new and unique procurement strategies and to develop the existing members of the procurement function, helping to shape the future direction and success of the business. The Head of IT Procurement role involvement: Developing and mentoring members of the procurement team, leading them through your designed strategy and plans for the future development of the business Bring about effective improvements to the IT procurement function and the business as a whole, optimising existing and new client and supplier contracts to generate significant savings Manage relationships with senior stakeholder and high profile clients, establishing a strong and beneficial network for yourself and the business Work autonomously with the freedom to design and execute your own unique plans and strategies with minimal direct management The Head of IT Procurement required background: Vast experience in, and thorough knowledge of the IT procurement category, having covered subcategories including but not limited to: Networks, Infrastructures, and Software Good stakeholder credibility, having effectively managed various stakeholder relationships across previous senior procurement roles Excellent communication and people management skills, having successfully lead and developed previous procurement teams Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification This is an exciting greenfield opportunity for an experienced procurement professional, keen to execute their own unique strategies to shape the future direction and success of this iconic brand If you want to find out more send you CV direct to Alastair at: JobsAWbramwithconsulting.co.uk
