As a fast-paced and brand led business, marketing is at the forefront of this organisation, meaning this successful senior category manager will not only get the chance to stamp their own mark on this category, but have the chance to lead this function through exciting periods of change and transformation. Ideal for a forward thinking and innovative procurement category manager, looking to excel and grow in a recognised brand. Senior Category Manager role outline: Category ownership - you will be responsible for all marketing procurement activities a, including multi million pound spend under ownership & tasked with developing category strategies and programs to add value whilst optimising cost Team management - you will be expected to lead cross-function teams targeted with delivering objectives Planning & Forecasting - you will participate in the planning and forecasting process to establish standard costs and articulate the decisions make to a variety of senior stakeholders Profile Procurement & Category experience required: Procurement category management experience, having led strategically a category spend whilst having shown demonstrable experience of progressing through a global organisation from analyst level Marketing procurement experience is a must; with the demonstrable experience of leading strategic programs within this category, ideally covering digital marketing, sponsorship & advertising Bachelor's degree in supply chain / business / finance or science field CIPS qualified Job Offer Excellent role in a high performing business
