Overview
Our client Aston Villa Football Club are currently recruiting a Middle-Weight Graphic Designer to assist with the idea creation, stylisation and design development of Marketing campaigns to promote their range of products and services across all channels, platforms and formats - both print and digital, always keeping the brand integrity at front of mind. As the Middle-Weight Graphic Designer you will be responsible for: Managing multiple projects from initial stages to completion, both print and digital Creating and produce fit for purpose ideas, and designs for both print and digital projects Leading on ideation and helping to brainstorm ideas with the team Campaign artwork roll out Producing a variety of printed materials including brochures, direct mail and flyers, as well as various web graphics and email artwork to the correct colour and size specifications Co-ordinating the relevant internal approvals for the design assets and keeping relevant records Supplying print-ready artwork in the correct format to agreed timings and deadlines Working with other designers in creating and implementing best practices in artwork supply, file location, back up and archive Ensuring all artwork is consistent and relevant for the target audience and complies with Club Brand Guidelines The successful candidate for the role of Middle-Weight Graphic Designer will have: A design related degree level or equivalent Excellent practical knowledge of Adobe Design related software: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator Proven experience working as an experienced Mid-weight Designer Good knowledge of the print process Excellent communication skills, able to articulate ideas and confidently explain creative concepts to a non-creative audience Experience of Motion Graphics desirable An interest in football or sport desirable In return the successful Graphic Designer will receive a basic salary of £22,000 - £26,000pa dependent upon experience.
