Overview

What you'll do: You will facilitate high quality, innovative and best value coaching, bespoke training and support for priority projects which embeds a collaborative approach to meeting Hampshire Constabulary's (HC) priorities through change and effective people development interventions. What we're looking for: We are looking for passionate advocates for people development who are able to effectively influence and challenge others. You will have a proven track record in design, delivery, and evaluation of innovative leadership, management and people development interventions with measured impact across large complex organisations. Educated to level 4 in Learning and Development, or equivalent, you will have knowledge of cutting-edge theory and techniques relating to leadership, management and people development with a good understanding of digital learning technologies. You'll be positive about developing yourself and exploring new ways to help people learn. Role Responsibilities: Facilitate pre-designed, interactive workshops as part of our management and leadership offer to build skills and bring about behavioural change. Design and deliver innovative blended leadership, management and people development interventions, as part of the core WFD offer or as bespoke pieces of work to meet business requirements. Apply appropriate qualitative and quantitative measures to evaluate the effectiveness of people development interventions. Provide coaching and/or mentoring as required to support individuals, organisational and service specific needs. Consider digital learning technologies as an integral part of learning and development interventions. Maintain an awareness of corporate and departmental equalities, health and safety, sustainability and other relevant policies and procedures that apply to your role. Role requirements: Design and delivery of innovative blended leadership, management and people development interventions, including coaching and mentoring which meet organisational needs. Identification of ways in which digital technologies can support learning interventions. Application of and input into appropriate evaluation methods for measuring the impact of interventions across large complex organisations. Management of key stakeholder, partner and professional relationships. Knowledge and/or experience working in a policing environment Behaviours: Confident and credible facilitator who brings challenge and insight as a trusted and highly regarded internal consultant. Passionate advocate for people development who is able to influence inspire and encourage others. Keeps up to date with knowledge of current theory and techniques relating to leadership, management and people development, Driven to use evaluation data to continuously improve. Qualifications: Educated to QCF Level four in L&D or equivalent qualification or experience to evidence similar level of competence. Other: Ability to travel and deliver coaching and other interventions across various locations in Hampshire including police sites. Ability to travel within the County of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and occasionally outside of Hampshire for specific events and personal development. Must achieve NPPV clearance for police purposes. Desirable: Attained or working towards Level 7 Coaching Qualification or equivalent experience to evidence similar level of competence. Insights accreditation an advantage but not essential.
