Looking to take that next step where you can take ownership for leading publication planning and the development of high quality, engaging content across a range of digital platforms? Our client is a growing digital medical publisher, based in London working in a range of pathologies they provide up to date, relevant content for their HCP audience. The Job… The Publishing Manager will take responsibility for leading publication planning and the development content for all journals. You’ll lead a small but growing team to deliver their multichannel publishing programme. Responsibilities include: Owning and manage the publishing programme Managing the editorial team workflow to deliver the publication plan according to milestones in the publishing calendar, including onsite management and attending international medical conferences Proactively managing relationships with Editorial Boards and medical societies Reviewing content to ensure scientific balance, accuracy and relevance. Oversee planning and implementation of marketing campaigns Leading implementation of state-of-the-art new products, workflows and services The Right Candidate… The right person will share the teams enthusiasm and passion for communicating the latest scientific ideas. To be a success in this role you will be continually developing your scientific knowledge across a variety of disease areas so genuine interest and passion for this is going to be key. Demonstrated editorial experience within a medical communications Management experience and staff training is desirable A life science degree is required. Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, Highly organised and efficient with strong problem-solving abilities.
