An exciting opportunity has been created for a Marketing Manager to lead all marketing activities across the UK, Nordics, and Benelux regions out of Knauf UK and Ireland’s Kent HQ Key elements of the role include; Territory focus: UK (c. 50%), Nordics (c. 30%), Benelux (c. 20%) Plans and implements Aquapanel® marketing strategies in the region Develops a detailed budget and activity plan Provides marketing support for partner companies, supports specification and sales team in the regions Working with the wider Marketing and Sales teams (plus various other stakeholders) to deliver best-in-class internal and external category marketing communications across multiple channels and target audiences Operates in line with the Knauf brand values Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Your key responsibilities are: Regional brand management for Knauf AQUAPANEL® - control of brand guidelines Regional product marketing for the Knauf AQUAPANEL® product portfolio; creation and roll-out programs of product launches and campaigns Participate in the development and activation of the marketing and communication strategy, including concept creation and implementation for the target groups (such as Knauf distribution partners, direct customers/importers, architects and specifiers, trade businesses and installers) Market research, competition monitoring and analysis Campaign content planning and activation Working with relevant colleagues, manage AQUAPANEL® PR and communication activities in line with media campaigns Working with relevant colleagues, drives digital marketing strategy and activities in close collaboration with key partners and customers in region e.g. website development, lead management, social media Development/adaptation of various international marcomms tools: print materials, exhibition stand decorations, etc Adapts and develops sales supporting marketing materials, such as brochures, digital assets, POS and fair concepts, develops regional references (case studies) Work closely with the marketing teams & product-management teams, enabling them to meet their commercial objectives, by providing tools, materials presentations, etc. Develop an efficient trade-marketing program offering high quality "in-store" and "event" support to retailers Organise, supervise and carry out internal cutomers events, external trade shows, sales training and conferences Procurement and distribution of merchandise materials Manage agencies and other external service providers Generate reports to Knauf AQUAPANEL® HQ Manage and reconcile the marketing budget for the region Travel across Europe/Germany (25%) Strong relationships with internal departments and external bodies are essential to be effective in this role Ensure all output works hard to reach desired internal and external targets, using a variety of media Effective and measurable integrated campaigns, with ROI key Plan, deliver, measure and continually improve a calendar of targeted campaigns Requirements: Qualifications, skills, ability and/or experience: Attention to detail International marketing experience Familiar with CRM systems 5 years’ experience in the field of marketing/communications Bachelor University degree with commercial focus Communicative, interpersonal skills Excellent presentation skills Creative, quality-driven approach Able to handle multiple assignments, deadlines Team player Project management experience Excellent spelling, grammar and creative writing skills Ability to brief, enthuse and manage marketing agencies Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Budget responsibility Passion, integrity, and energy Good computer skills (broad Microsoft competence) A self-starter; able to measure effectiveness of own output Full (UK) driving license We categorically do not accept speculative CVs from recruitment agencies; any profiles that are sent to Knauf UK and Ireland without the agency being appointed prior will be treated as a gift from the agency.
