Corporate Communications - Channel Development Officer (Contract) - Glasgow - Public Sector - End of November Your new company You will be working within the public sector in Glasgow. Due to an experience increase in workload this organisation is seeking an experience and enthusiastic comms professional to join their busy corporate comms team. Your new role You will be part of a team of channel development officers who ensure that all internally 'owned' communications channels (channels that we have the authority to change e.g. intranet, briefings, WEB), both digital and non-digital, throughout the organisation are fit for purpose, up to date and operational. To ensure that the content on the channels is up to date, accurate and of good quality. Ensure that all internally owned channels use a consistent style, are engaging and in line with the organisations brand guidelines. To maintain channels in line with business requirements and ensure that all channels in the organisation meet the required standards for accessibility. To work on the development of marketing and digital media online products as required in line with business requirements To develop the creation of images of digital/user interface solutions for ICT to implement. What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience in a similar role will lead to your success. As a Channel Development Officer you will be experienced in using SharePoint and CMS software and have the skills to ensure the organisations channels are constantly up to date. What you'll get in return You will receive an hourly rate of £30k which will be paid to you hourly. This will be a contract until the end of November working on a really exciting project in Glasgow.
