Account Director - Technology Advisory / Market Intelligence A global leader in market intelligence and advisory services aligned to technology has a requirement for an Account Director to join their team and assume responsibility for nurturing and developing a select number of very large accounts, which are primarily UK and Ireland based. This is a role that is particularly suitable for someone that can engage in smart conversations with C-level individuals who sit within marketing, information or technology functions of very large corporates. In this role, the Account Director will have the following responsibilities and objectives: Responsibility for the development, maintenance and management of a select number of very large accounts Gaining an acute understanding of the challenges faced by marketing, information and technology and aligning suitable market intelligence or advisory solutions Leveraging on a vast internal network of analysts and experts to deliver on complex deals Gaining an expert understanding of the technology landscape and the objectives of the client to identify potential growth areas Assuming the role of a trusted advisor to the key stakeholders within a portfolio of accounts Suitable candidates for this Account Director role require the following skills and experience: A track record in successfully managing, and growing large complex accounts Ideally, experience gained in either information services, advisory or working with technology vendors Strong relationship building skills, the ability to engage in smart conversations and selling to C-suite level Creating complex and compelling proposals The ability to establish customer budgets, objectives and decision-making criteria Preferably, experience that has been gained in a complex and multi-national organization
