Overview

Team Profile: Based in London, the Community Affairs is responsible for the Firm's charitable efforts across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) including: corporate and foundation giving, employee volunteering, giving and engagement, and communications and reporting around philanthropic issues for the Firm. Primary Responsibilities: Community Affairs is seeking a temporary team assistant to provide project support for key volunteering campaigns. This position would suit an individual with corporate responsibility and/or corporate event experience, strong organisational and interpersonal skills, good analytical ability, and who is able to hit the ground running. Experience of working in a fast paced environment is critical. Duties will include: Administrative and logistical co-ordination duties, working with the Head of Community Affairs to assist with the delivery of flagship pro bono volunteering programmes. Provide admin support to the project manager as they develop and expand the year-round volunteer offer in London and EMEA. Supporting the Community Affairs team in preparing for Global Volunteer Month, 's annual 'Giving Back' campaign. Supporting with the management and on the day coordination of volunteer events, including planning projects, working with partner charities, briefing employee volunteers, participation tracking and gathering feedback. Administration duties, including managing volunteering calendars, room bookings, processing invoices, participation tracking and responding to queries about volunteering projects and other Community Affairs programmes. Providing support to event champions across EMEA and updating, monitoring and analysing reports from the Employee Volunteering database. Support with internal communications, including the writing of event descriptions, preparing briefing notes and post event summaries. Skills Required: This position would suit an individual with corporate responsibility and/or corporate event experience, strong organisational and interpersonal skills, good analytical ability, and who is able to hit the ground running. Experience of working in a fast paced environment is critical. Candidate needs to be quick learning, a self-starter and able to work on own initiative - with the mindset to get involved as and when needed. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. IT literate - competent user of Microsoft Office Suite. Comfortable with sorting and analysing data using Microsoft Excel Experience dealing with a high volume of requests and queries. Ability to take ownership of projects, with limited supervision. Ability to multitask effectively, and prioritise work load. High attention to detail is critical. Strong team player.
