Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PR and Media Manager within a well-known charitable organisation to cover maternity leave on a 12 month contract. A competitive salary of £40-50k DOE. The successful candidate will have worked in PR, Media or Journalism and ideally will have worked or volunteered within the Charity Sector. You will be a team player, resourceful, be able to work well under pressure with a pragmatic approach. You will be working in a small team and reporting to the PR,Media and Marketing Director. PR and Media Manager duties will include: Plan and implement annual National and Regional Print Media Coverage Develop relationships with journalists and editors Support the PR and Marketing team and collaborate Work closely with the volunteer manager to ensure press releases are timely Source and develop relationships with celebrities to encourage endorsement for the charity For an extensive job description and full details please contact Mercury Talent without delay.
