Benefits of working for this company: Working on Event Delivery to a major global brand Office based from Central England, with UK-wide event delivery Good Salary Package Contributory pension scheme Joining a talented team with a passion for events Our client, a privately owned Events Management Company, is seeking a highly motivated Events Executive for their business, situated in Northamptonshire, operating in the Automotive sector. Their business revolves around supporting vehicle manufacturers and their dealers in all aspects of product, service offering and business promotion. You will be managing circa 80-100 events a year covering shopping centre placements, county shows, local fairs/motorshows etc. Your responsibilities as an Events Exective will include: Project managing the delivery of events and their content to a pre-determined brief. Managing a wide variety of off-site events. Managing relationships with clients and service providers. Managing events on-site, including the invitation and delegate process, transfer and rooming lists. Managing event timelines and budgets, ensuring events are delivered on time and on budget Negotiate with suppliers and coordinate ground requirements including social programmes and budget reconciliation. Ensuring that event outcomes are recorded and providing detailed reports on each event. A self-starter and experienced in project planning, you must have first class customer/people handling skills and a passion for delivering high quality events. Strong commercial acumen and an eye for spotting new event opportunities would also be a welcome attribute You must have experience gained in an events agency environment as an Events Manager relating to the exhibition/conference/events industry, and be able to work independently. The ability to make quick decisions in a busy environment is essential. You will be a natural planner, a confident communicator and be able to quickly establish working relationships with your clients and suppliers.
