Their business revolves around supporting vehicle manufacturers and their dealers in all aspects of product, service offering and business promotion. This incorporates a wide range of indoor and outdoor events, project managing anything from new product launches and large scale exhibitions to roadshows and photo shoots - so you'll need to be a hands-on, versatile and flexible individual You will be responsible for cradle-to-grave delivery of client led events, primarily in the UK but occasionally in Europe, to a standard of service that is of the highest calibre. Your responsibilities as an Events Manager will include: Project managing the development of events and their content to a pre-determined brief. Managing a wide variety of off-site events. Managing relationships with clients and service providers. Developing new event solutions alongside the agency’s in-house team. Maintain National and International venue knowledge Managing events on-site, including the invitation and delegate process, transfer and rooming lists. Managing event timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget Negotiate with suppliers and coordinate ground requirements including social programmes and budget reconciliation. Ensuring that event outcomes are recorded and providing detailed reports on each event. A self-starter and a specialist in project planning, you must have first class customer/people handling skills and a passion for delivering high quality events. Strong commercial acumen and an eye for spotting new event opportunities would also be a welcome attribute You must have experience gained in an agency environment as an Events Manager relating to the exhibition/conference/events industry, and be able to work independently. The ability to make quick decisions in a busy environment is essential. You will be a natural planner, a confident communicator and be able to quickly establish working relationships with your clients and suppliers.
