Overview

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic and motivated SEO Specialist to join our Digital Services team. This is a hands-on, client-facing position for someone with the skills and passion to deliver industry leading strategies for a portfolio of high-end global brands. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and be bright, efficient and passionate about digital marketing technologies. You need to have a strong SEO foundation and be enthusiastic about learning more and taking more control of day to day management of a large, global account. You will have an analytical mindset and enjoy exploring new technologies whilst working in a fast paced, dynamic, project driven and agile environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an SEO Executive to continue to use and grow their experience whilst widening their skills across SPIKA’s services including, analytics and reporting, implementation of marketing email, plus launching and supporting high profile digital promotions and campaigns on our marketing platform. Day to day activity will vary depending on the requirements of our clients, but will include: Execution of the SEO offering, including Technical SEO (crawls, site audits, page speed, redirects), Content Optimisation (GAP analysis, voice optimisation) and Off-site Campaign Strategy (YouTube optimisation, Amazon, link building). Creation of Keyword optimised meta titles and meta descriptions Responding to JIRA tickets and performing QA on implementation of SEO recommendations Working with the SEO Manager to develop SEO strategies, roadmaps and activities Setting up and maintaining various reports for benchmarking and performance tracking Ensure all website development projects are in line with Google webmaster guidelines Analyse Paid Media analytics / reports to ensure effective keyword targeting for organic campaign Oversee competitor analysis, market research & new opportunities Essential skills: Keyword research and identifying content opportunities Writing meta data and optimising content Google Analytics and Reporting, Google Tag Manager Voice/featured snippets strategies Excellent writing and language skills High degree of attention to detail Confident client communication skills Strong team player with a self-motivated attitude The following skills/experience would be advantageous: Technical SEO (redirects, page speed etc) Working on global client accounts Brightedge, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console Basic understanding of CSS, JavaScript & HTML Up to date knowledge of digital marketing techniques - Social, PPC and content marketing There is plenty of opportunity to widen your skills in areas such as: Configuration of email campaigns using tools such as MailChimp, ExactTarget and SalesForce Content Management Systems and functions eg implementing layouts, adding copy etc UX/UI Business Analysis and management of promotion/campaign rollout This role is based in our London office a short walk from Victoria and St James’ Park.
