Roar Ambition is an international fitness brand based in Leeds. Due to consistent success and the growth of their market leading products and brands they are now looking to recruit a specialist Product Manager/NPD Manager to who can help identify opportunities to launch exciting new products into aligned markets. Reporting to the Global Head of Ecommerce you will be responsible for the ongoing development of their current product range, along with developing new products based on sound industry and market research, finding gaps and niches in the market place that can be filled with new or updated products. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with experience in these areas who is looking to gain further hands-on experience and work to shape and own their product development strategy. The Role: Manage the existing portfolio of products, ensuring the company objectives for product development and enhancement are achieved Work on market research projects, identifying new product opportunities within existing and emerging markets Analyse the competitor market place to gain insights into the industry and possible niche new produce entry points. Analyse the product range performance, pricing and competitor products, collating data to identify trends and reporting back to the management team. Working with the in-house design team on product packaging in line with brand guidelines, ensuring all packaging and labelling is compliant to current standard, within the UK and USA Build relationships with current and prospective suppliers, ensuring that stock is replenished and managed efficiently The Person Extensive experience in a B2C Product Management role with a solid background in researching markets for NPD and launch possibilities. Commercially aware with previous experience in developing and researching opportunities for product development and enhancement Experience in managing products from research to idea to launch and had previous experience of managing them through their full lifecycle A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to a fast paced and changeable e-commerce business Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand the dynamics of a commercial on-line retailer Experience of interpreting data and turning it into meaningful insights the help formulate business strategies.
