Overview

With a wide range of opportunity to develop your fundraising skills across trusts, statutory funding, and lottery, this role is ideally suited to anyone looking to take the next stage in developing their fundraising career. Working as part of a small team focused around this income stream, you will be developing your own portfolio of donors and collaborating with the broader charity team to identify opportunities for fundraising. Your work will be helping support the vision of a charity that works across the country supporting the many unpaid people of all ages who spend their time unpaid supporting family or friends who are suffering from illness, mental health problems, addiction, frailty, or disability. It is critical work, and will mean providing invaluable services to around half a million people. Senior Fundraising Executive Full Time Permanent (37 Hours Per Week) London £33,000 p.a. 26 days holiday plus 11.5 days BH and Office closure Key responsibilities of the role will include: Crafting brilliant proposals that drive income from trusts, foundations, lottery and statutory funders Building relationships with funding organisations and stewarding them effectively Working collaboratively to develop project plans that can drive fundraising applications Manage a pipeline of grant givers, delivering effective reporting to them on time and accurately Research and identify new potential funding sources Support teams across the organisation with the account management of substantial grants Cultivate excellent relationships through a range of communications and events Ensure a high level of record keeping through the CRM and internal systems The ideal candidate for this role will be: Be an experienced fundraiser with a background in raising funds from charitable trusts Comfortable working as part of a small, but highly committed team Experienced in account management of charitable grants, ideally from a range of funders Experienced in preparing funding proposals for a range of programmes and appeals An outstanding communicator, able to put together compelling content and speak with passion Able to manage a varied project load, handle conflicting priorities and meet targets set Confident and comfortable dealing with a wide range of stakeholders, supporters, and prospective funders Accurate in your work methods with an eye for detail and the ability to research Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and passionate about the organisation’s work To register your interest and for more information please send your CV in the first instance.
