Senior Press Officer - Premium Fashion Brand Rare opportunity to join this exciting global business at a pivotal time of investment and growth. We are looking for an excellent communicator with flawless attention to detail and a creative flair. You will need a solid foundation of experience in developing integrated PR plans for a relevant brand, excellent press release writing skills, along with proven experience in PR and strong contacts, specifically within fashion and/or retail. Senior Press Officer - Premium Fashion Brand Primary Accountabilities Work with Head of Press and Public Relations to develop a market specific editorial plan to increase print and digital product and brand placement within the most influential titles. Work with Head of Press and Public Relations to increase brand awareness through strategic product placement and editorial content. Work with Head of Press and Public Relations to gain a sound understanding of local and regional media, including digital, men's and women's press across, nurturing and building on existing press relationships through regular contact meetings and events. Take responsibility for the collation and archiving of all press clippings, ensuring inclusion in daily and monthly print and digital reporting as well as creating ad hoc project-centric clipping reports when required. Take responsibility in producing PR results reports through coverage analysis utilising designated external agency data Contribute to the selection of seasonal press orders, ensuring UK market needs are reflected in the press collection edit and in line with budget. Work with Head of Press and Public Relations to Proactively develop and nurture contacts with digital influencers and shopping editors across the UK. Work with Head of Press and Public Relations to Compile and maintain comprehensive media lists for the UK, Irish and Scandinavian markets which are up to date with all industry movements and keep abreast of social media profiles of the brand, influencers and competitors in these markets. Identify and attend networking or industry events in UK, acting as a brand ambassador and ensuring brand values and key messaging are communicated at every opportunity. To co-ordinate the daily distribution of Press Samples to the various magazines and newspapers. To control the Press Samples in the Press Office and ensure returns are processed and the Office is tidy at all times. To Work with the Head of Press and Public Relations, when required, to assist and develop the process of correct product placement activity, ensuring this is executed in the manner which has been set out by the market key objectives. Development of working with and dealing with celebrities on events and dressing opportunities as directed by the Head of Press and Public Relations. To actively encourage and maintain effective links with key fashion and lifestyle press of all target consumer magazines, national newspapers, online media, bloggers, relevant regional newspapers and trade publications.
