The company see themselves as being a luxury brand but affordable to all Their route to market is through retailers globally as well as direct to the consumer via eCommerce, for which this role sits alongside. In this business, they refer to 'retail' as direct B2C and wholesale as bulk to retail for the consumer Continually growing organically, this business is not letting Brexit alter their direction or plans This is such a great business for someone where cultural fit is key and you enjoy being part of a close-knit, motivated team One of the key benefits of joining a growing brand, rather than a corporate is how agile they are, you can reactive to the market very, very quickly and you'll be a much bigger fish About the Overall Objective: To support the Head of Ecommerce by taking ownership of your given eCommerce Magento 2 sites and having a holistic view of the B2B Wholesaler (these are still retailers). Working with an in-house developer you will ensure all operational, transactional functions as well as front-end design, merchandising and UX are all optimum for sales growth. About the Responsibilities: You will be one of two Ecommerce Managers managing the B2B/Wholesale division with your counterpart B2C both with a small team to manage This role is both strategic and hands-on, you'll have a 'big picture' view of the sites, but also be happy being actively involved with merchandising, implement onsite campaigns and manage future development (currently with an external agency) This role is responsible for ensuring the eCommerce sites communicate correctly with the relevant departments for a smooth and seamless process, e.g. the warehousing system Monitoring key relevant metrics via analytics dashboards Analysing and improving the onsite customer journey, reduce bounce rates, increase conversions and improve user experience Therefore, your role is varied, strategic and hands-on, leading the team, developing the sites and people, analysing web and campaign data, merchandising and front-end design, UX and journey, conversions the whole shebang About the Requirements: The great thing about this business is they will not only consider someone in an eCommerce Manager's (or equivalent) role but also someone ready to step into the position that is clearly ready. Perhaps you've not been properly recognised at your current company or you've not had the opportunity to progress. Some team-leading or covering for maternity/training a junior colleague would read advantageously on your CV You don't need Developer skills as that is external currently, but knowledge of how Magento works would be greatly advantageous You do need to be entrepreneurial and treat your division like your own business and all that affects the running and success of the sites With several years in eCommerce under your belt, you will have demonstrable experience and an impressive portfolio to bring to interview and keen to make an impact quickly in a new, growing business About the Person: Natural flair and passion for eCommerce and the desire to be an eCommerce expert, keeping abreast of new techniques, trends and technologies to stay ahead of the competition. This will make room for your best in class sites, UX and in turn improve conversions and sales Able to see the bigger picture for the business and highly commercially minded ensuring all departments work seamlessly together You need to be adaptable, flexible and have a can-do attitude. This is because the first 6 months or so of the role are largely operational (working on systems communicating with the wider business, the role will develop, and you'll reap the rewards Driven and determined personality with an excellent work ethic Motivated to achieve common goals and go over and above the minimum job requirements (going the extra mile) Analytical web/sales/campaign and able to tell a story with data in order to make sound business decisions contributing to the direction of the retail/B2C division and the wider business Excellent stakeholder management experience Able to influence About the Package: £35,000 - £40,000 base salary, possibly £1-2k more Pension 20 days holiday statutory bank holidays.
