Overview

Our client is a healthcare communications consultancy working on a variety of medical communication projects with the aim of bringing about improvements to patient outcomes. Due to continued success, they are seeking an Account Manager to work across an award winning portfolio of meetings and be based at their offices in Surrey. In collaboration with expert healthcare professionals they deliver a large number of meetings annually. These include advisory boards, congresses, symposia and live events and road shows where they provide education to HCPs to improve their knowledge and skills over a number of different diseases areas. Our client is seeking candidates with experience of client handling and delivering a range of healthcare meetings. Responsibilities: Key day-to-day client contact, responding to client queries, providing regular status reports and being able to report on the status of any aspect of the meeting Manage the project timelines, client expectations, internal processes and budgets Responsible for managing all the logistics including venue selection & negotiation, contracts, subsistence, travel & accommodation as required. Management of all AV requirements, either directly with the venue or an external supplier Liaison with speakers about the meeting logistics Proactively recommend solutions and options to deliver the most successful meeting possible Ensure a continuing good relationship with clients and that a consistently efficient and effective service is provided Lead, coach and motivate the internal account team, providing support and advice Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Educated to degree level, preferably in a life science Previous experience of delivering medical communications events/meetings for different audiences Previous experience of managing AV/digital companies to deliver technical support for a meeting Excellent planning and organisational skills General computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Our clients offers a rewarding workplace and a fun team environment so you can flourish and develop in the role.
