Your opportunity The UK Consulting Knowledge Manager (KM) will serve as the knowledge management owner to the UK Consulting practice area, understanding UK and Consulting priorities, and coordinating knowledge activities to foster a more robust global knowledge exchange. The UK Consulting KM will also coordinate closely with the broader CoRe Knowledge Services teams, both collaborating and aligning to Global CoRe KS’s strategy, priorities and approaches. Your role Responsibilities: Practice Area Enablement Develop and maintain relationships with local/MF practice area leads and other key stakeholders within aligned Consulting practice area: Proactively engage with practice area leadership to identify knowledge opportunities and priorities Develop knowledge plans that articulate KS support of the strategic priorities of the practice In support of identified priorities, drive the collection of strategic content, expertise and thought leadership for publication within the global knowledge platforms Curate assets, working with subject matter specialists to nominate the "best from the rest" Create and contribute to collections of internal content and external research to support strategic priorities (e.g., for KX Hot Topics) Intellectual Property Management Maintain "healthy knowledge spaces" by regularly reviewing age, diversity and usage of existing content and executing action plans to improve user experience (e.g., archiving, targeting content to fill gaps) Expertise & Network Connectivity Drive DPN profile completion toward Member Firm Standard 1 targets, at a minimum, including tracking and follow-up processes Ensure UK/NSE specialists are identified within global knowledge tools, such as through badging in DPN and inclusion within curated knowledge collections Foster and encourage participation of specialists in networks and community forums (e.g., Yammer groups) that drive the exchange of tacit knowledge across local, Member Firm and global networks Knowledge Platform Optimization Provide local guidance to practitioners based upon in-depth expertise of global knowledge platforms/tools capabilities and functionality Embed linkages to global systems within UK systems and intranets, e.g., DPN links are prominent in intranet pages Adoption Measurement & Improvement Capture local knowledge success stories and testimonials to be featured in local and global communications Lead systematic analysis of UK practitioner adoption, usage and contribution levels and determine appropriate action to increase participation Compile and deliver reporting in line with UK and global leadership strategy and goals Your work, your choice At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. Work pattern: This is a permanent contract opportunity. The role can be worked on a full-time basis. Our team members work a variety of agile working patterns. Your professional experience Bachelor’s or equiverlant degree required; relevant fields of study may include Business, Management, Information Systems, Library Sciences, Journalism and/or Communications. Experience in aligned industry/business area a plus and experience in a global professional services organization preferred. Experience with electronic knowledge, repository management, intranets/portals, collaborative and social media tools; SharePoint experience a plus Experienced, independent thinker with proven project management experience; ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and stakeholders and deliver results Highly responsive with demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management Strong verbal and written communication skills Exceptional relationship building/relationship management skills to establish rapport, build trust and confidence, and manage customer expectations Collaborative, team player High comfort level working, managing resources, and collaborating in a virtual, global environment Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to change; experience managing change, acting as a change agent to influence others Your service line: Deloitte Global Across disciplines and across borders, Deloitte Global supports our network of member firms by developing and driving global strategy, programs, and platforms, and creating new solutions and transformational experiences.
